How It Works
before your session
I'll send you a brief questionnaire to help me get to know your family and what your goals for your session are. I’ll also share location ideas based on where you live, tips for prepping your kids and choosing the best outfits!
during your session
I come from a big family and spend a lot of time around little ones, so I have plenty of practice helping kids feel confident and comfortable. I'm very laid back and will make our session fun for the whole family...plus we can always take breaks whenever they're needed!
after your session
I'm all about capturing personality and love with a true-to-life editing style. That means your images will always feel like YOURS! Images will be delivered in a secure, online gallery with full print releases. Additional options for purchasing prints, albums or canvases will also be shared.

The days are full—of snacks and schedules and “can you just hold still for one second?” But somewhere in between the carpool runs and bedtime snuggles, there’s magic happening. And that’s what I’m here to capture.
You don’t need perfect outfits or perfectly behaved kids. You just need to show up as you are. I’ll guide you through a session that’s relaxed, joyful, and full of movement—one that feels more like play than posing.
Because family photos aren’t just about what you look like. They’re about how it felt to love each other in this exact season—and having something real to hold onto long after it’s passed.

From gummy grins to first wobbly steps, milestone sessions are the perfect way to freeze time as your baby grows. Whether it’s 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, or that big first birthday moment, I offer relaxed, joy-filled milestone photography that celebrates every part of their little journey.
I require a signed electronic contract along with a non-refundable $100 deposit at the time of your booking to secure your date. The remaining balance will be due up to 24 hours of your session

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?
You can expect your full gallery to be delivered via email within 2-3 weeks from your session date - but depending on your collection - you will recieve a sneak peek within 24 hours of our time together!
WHAT IF THERE IS BAD WEATHER ON THE DAY OF OUR outdoor SESSION?
I keep a careful eye on my Weather Channel App and in the event of inclement (extreme cold, snow, rain, high winds) weather, I will reach out to you to plan to reschedule your session for another date or we can pivot to a studio session!
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL/RESCHEDULE?
I totally understand that life happens and things come up! The $100 non-refundable deposit will remain on your account to use toward a rescheduled CSP session within 90 days.
For my newborn parents, I have you schedule your session within 2 weeks of your due date - but, if your little one arrives early/late, or if you just need a few extra days to get settled, we can absolutely move your date. Since i only schedule a certain amount of newborn sessions a week/month, I offer a lot more flexibility for reschedules for these in-home sessions.
WHAT DOES MY ONLINE ALBUM INCLUDE?
All online digital galleries include high-resolution images, a print release (meaning you don't have to get prints through just me) and unlimited shares/downloads. You can order any prints or albums you'd like directly through your gallery.

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I LOVE neutral and pastel colors. I have spent hours creating my CSP Stress Free Portrait Guide as a tool for you that provides tips, location ideas and tons of outfit inspiration.
Can we shoot in studio?
Absolutely! Studio Sessions are a great option if you are looking for a cozy, controlled environment - perfect for newborns, milestones, or just a clean classic look.
You'll also have access to my private office area with a bathroom perfect for getting ready, feeding baby or just taking a moment to settle in! It's a realxed, welcoming space desgined with you (and real life) in mind!
The studio is located in Mint Hill, NC, right off of 485 and is no additional cost to you!
The best time to book your maternity photos is within 6-8 months. This means you’ll want to reach out to secure a date right around the start of your second trimester. You’ll likely be showing a pretty decent-sized bump between 28-36 weeks, especially if this isn’t your first baby.
For those tiny, fresh newborn moments, schedule your newborn session 7-14 days after your due date. Newborn session dates are flexible to change, as newborns arrive on their own time. If your little one arrives earlier or later than expected, please reach out to me and we can adjust your session date. If you are wanting more time to settle in at home, newborn sessions can be scheduled up to 3 months after arrival.
How far in advance should we book?
All of my sessions are relaxed, comfortable and fun! During our time, I will start by photographing you and your family in a couple of posed positions, then move into more candid and active shots! That's why I recommend to just let kids be kids during the session.! We'll play games, laugh, and capture their full personalities in photos that you'll treasure for years to come. I promise to make you feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, have timeless photos to remember this time by, and an unforgettable and fun experience!
Lifestyle Newborn Sessions are relaxed and cozy, taken place in the comfort of your own home. During our time, I will photograph you and your family snuggling with your baby, as well as document all the little unposed details of your little one! I know this time can be crazy, so my goal is to make you feel as much at ease as possible. I come with all the necessary props - a basket, swaddles, bows, etc. so you don't have to worry about having anything prepared... but we can photograph your little one in any special outfits you have in mind!
