I come from a big family and I absolutely love being around kids and babies! My favorite part of my job is getting to know my wonderful clients and watching families grow over the years!
Meet Claire
I'm a dog mom to Palmer, girlfriend to Cory, big sister, best aunt, fierce friend and lover of desserts. I’m the girl behind the lens + a natural light portrait photographer serving the Carolinas + beyond.
I've served over 200 families and I still fall deeper in love with photography every single time I pick up my camera. When I left the corporate world and decided to go full time in 2021, I never in my wildest dreams would have imagined it would take me where I am and fill me with the most pure joy I've ever felt.

I'm definitely biased, but I've got two of the greatest guys in my corner - My boyfriend, Cory and my baby dog, Palmer! Both of them are the reason for my big smile every day and they are my biggest supporters (even though I think Palmer is into it just because of all the dog treats and peanut butter I buy him....)

I come from a big family where we are each others first best friends. We have a big group chat that we talk about everything and nothing all at once. It's chaos and I love it. Watching my brother start a family and becoming an aunt has seriously been the best thing ever. I am constantly chasing around my two sweet little nieces (or my mini-me's) around to capture those cutie patooties in every setting I can because they grow by the minute!

Like any other basic B out there - I love me some coffee. When I'm not in my home office, you can 100% find me posted up at a new local coffee shop in Charlotte. I don't have a usual order and LOVE trying new drinks. Iced, Hot, Tea, Coffee - I feel like you can tell a lot about someone by what they order... so tell me what your go to is and I'll order it on my next work day :)

I grew up in Durham, but moved to Charlotte for college and knew I found my home! I love everything this city has to offer - from the outdoor patios in SouthEnd, to Summer Concerts at PNC, to catching a baseball game Uptown! There is always something new and fun to do!

That means I never force anyone to hold still and say "cheese". First off, have you ever tried to get your toddler to hold still for more than a second? It's Impossible. Instead, I encourage your kids (and you!) to laugh, play and explore. Creating a relaxed scene is how we will be able to capture their true personalities and genuine smiles.
